3 Soldiers Martyred killing 4 terrorists but WHY?

Defence News: The story is simple, Cornflakes making army generals in the neighborhood keep hiring unworthy, unemployed, brainwashed and illiterate men from the filth of PoK, which they have successfully created over the decades. They send them from the comfort of their chairs, while our Army pays the price to prevent the jokers from throwing up another blood party.

Although the army successfully foiled an infiltration bid in J&K,s Naugam sector, we lost 3 Soldiers to kill 4 unworthy militants. This is in continuation of defensive strategy that India continues to play despite loosing more and gaining less. “An infiltration bid was foiled by alert troops along the LoC in Naugam sector. Two infiltrating terrorists were killed,” an army official had said.

The battle lasted for 36 hours, “Two more terrorists were killed today while another soldier attained martyrdom,” the official said. Currently Army is conducting a cleansing operation along the Loc, Some weapons and stores have been recovered from the encounter site. Although defense minister Arun Jaitley lauded the Army for aggressive domination and combat readiness in giving befitting reply to threats across the border, it’s hard to believe that how we keep loosing soldiers while battling militants that should be killed without much loss. It’s frustrating to hear news time and again about soldiers being martyred for unworthy terrorists.

Are we not equipping our Army well?

Yes we are not. At soldier level, bullet proof jackets are coming, though in limited numbers, that too after me and you have to sign online petitions. The gear quality and level of preparedness is not satisfactory due to key equipment and weapons either missing or not being up to the mark. No I am not talking about special forces or special squads, but our regular Army soldier. Defence ministry, government and other departments are not looking in the right direction. What does it take to manufacture standard high quality defence gear? Nothing much really considering we spend multi billion bucks on importing big weapons.

The enemy is well equipped because their only motive to survive as a nation is hate against India. They will go eat grass to buy weapons of good quality, especially at soldier level. Can we not spend some loose change from our deep pockets to secure our country and care for our troops? We hardly spend enough, our GDP percent of defence budged is abysmally low. Let our enemies and unconcerned international comedians not dictate to us about our poverty problems when we spend to such needs. They spend way more than we do, while facing many times fewer threats than we do.

Where are the bulletproof jackets for every soldier? how about a handheld computer? what about battlefield radars? How is UAV availability at unit level? Despite security issues in J&K where are networked cameras looking at every nook and corner? Most importantly, where is the will to shoot every violent man between the eyes? The formula is simple, kill or get killed. Till the time we keep being nice, we are going to take a beating. Success will only come when we pick our gun and let it do the talking.
