Thousands attend terrorist’s funeral & policeman just has his family

Defence News: Height of insensitive and negatively polarized crowds can be found in Kashmir. Thousands of militant supporters marched to a hizbul mujaheddin terrorist’s funeral, the man he killed, a brave policeman, just has his family and colleagues.  NDTV reported “Azhar Mehmood – the policeman who showed exemplary courage and sacrificed his life to repulse a terror attack – was mourned by his family and colleagues. Barely 10 km away, thousands participated in the funeral of Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Fayaz Ahmad Aishwar.”

The report continues:

Azhar Mehmood and three civilians were killed in the attack carried out by Fayaz and three other terrorists in Anantnag on Saturday. The policeman came under attack while they were regulating traffic after a road accident. Sources say the terrorists first tried to snatch away the guns from the policeman. Mr Mehmood, who had grabbed a terrorist by the throat, died when the other terrorists opened fire. Fayaz Ahmad Aishwar was involved in the attack on the Border Security Forces camp in Udhampur in 2015 andcarried a reward of Rs. 2 lakh on his head.

“He was working with police for the last eight years. He is survived by two children, one is just eight month old and his wife,” said Mr Mehmood’s relative Gulzar Ahmad Sheikh. So far government has not announced any compensation for the family.  On Thursday, security forces carried out a huge anti-terror operation – monitored from air by helicopters and unmanned vehicles – across two dozen villages in Shopian. At its fag end, a sudden strike by terrorists killed one civilian and injured two soldiers. Even on that day, the forces had encountered resistance from locals in at least four villages. –Report ends.

Support for militants has been growing in south Kashmir and terrorists roam the countryside in the open. Public support enticed by funds and inspiration from the failing state of Pakistan has mislead the youth by buying stone throwing labor. Youth who thinks that Pakistan is their ideal country, failing to see it collapse by every day that passes by. A state that has failed to sustain it’s people and struggles with bankruptcy, filled with hate for India and an obsessed army that has nothing to do but think of war with India.

When a crow dies, a flock of crows gather, creating ruckus and filling the air with unrest. Birds of peace, die in peace, but are always remembered and loved by their near ones and the nation alike.

There is no solution unfortunately, that works with peace, the only solution lies with strict crackdown. Such crackdown, that should break the spine and bone of the supporters of terrorism. Human rights never a concern with such a crowd, because they supress rights of millions living in fear everyday because of their actions. It’s about saving many by sacrificing a few. A decision must me made.
